Messmer's Wood & Deck Cleaner (Part A) is the professional's choice for safely and effectively cleaning exterior wood. This maximum-strength powder concentrate is specifically formulated to strip away years of dirt, graying, grime, and surface contaminants without the harsh damage caused by bleach. Properly cleaning your wood is the single most important step before staining!

• Safe on Wood: Unlike chlorine bleach, this formula (Sodium Percarbonate-based) will not destroy the wood's lignin or cause an unnatural bleached-out look.
• High Coverage: Each 16 oz. jar makes up to 5 gallons of cleaning solution and typically cleans up to $500–600$ sq. ft. of wood surface.
• Biodegradable & Low VOC: An effective, concentrated powder that is biodegradable and contains $0$ g/L VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds).
