In 2021, the Remai Arts Centre approached The Ultimate Deck Shop Saskatoon with the intent of replacing their aging Ipe hardwood deck overlooking the South Saskatchewan River, with new PVC decking.
Wade Laurent, co-founder of The Ultimate Deck Shop, assessed the deck and advised that it only needed maintenance, not replacement. Following his recommendation, the Remai Arts Centre revived the deck by sanding and applying Cutek Extreme wood oil, restoring its original beauty, protecting it from the elements, saving thousands of dollars and beautifying the space for Saskatonians to enjoy.
