TUDS Project Gallery · Real Prairie backyards

What we've been building. Real prairie backyards.

Every project on this page is a real Saskatchewan, Alberta, or Manitoba homeowner — not a vendor render, not a stock photo, not somebody else's deck. Decks, railing, hardscape, fences, full-yard rebuilds. Filter by city, brand, or category. The deck that lets you forget what day it is starts with seeing one that already exists.

Featured TUDS projects

Five categories. Real prairie projects.

Decks are the bulk of what we do. Railing, hardscape, fences, and full-yard rebuilds round it out. Each section below anchors a chunk of the project grid.

Decks

Composite, capped polymer, cedar. Saskatoon and Regina backyards we've helped build since 2016.

The bulk of what we do — and the bulk of this gallery. Decks across every tier we stock: Eva-Last bamboo composite from Infinity IS to Pioneer, Trex Transcend and Lineage, Fiberon GoodLife and Sanctuary, Deckorators Voyage and Vault, plus real cedar with Cutek Extreme finish. Railing

Aluminum frames, glass infill, cable runs. Railing that disappears so the prairie stays in view.

Railing decisions usually happen after the deck — but they shouldn't. The wrong railing closes off your view; the right one disappears. Browse Vista aluminum, Regal Ideas, Fortress AL13 Home, glass-infill panels, and cable runs across our customer projects. Most of these are also engineered for prairie wind loads — Saskatchewan code requires it.

Hardscape

Paver patios, retaining walls, stone steps. The other half of the backyard.

Hardscape is the second half of any serious backyard project — and it's where most homeowners get under-served. We stock Techo-Bloc, Belgard, and Barkman across every category: large-format slabs, modular walls, natural stone, edging. Browse the grid for paver patios, retaining walls, fire pits, and stone-step projects we've supplied across the prairies.

Fences + privacy

Hoft modular panels, composite slat fences, privacy screens. The fourth wall of your backyard.

Fences finish the room — and the right fence does it without making the yard feel smaller. Browse Hoft modular composite panels, traditional cedar fences finished with Cutek Extreme, horizontal-slat screens, and Vista privacy panels. Most prairie yards we touch get a fence rebuild as part of the deck or hardscape project — these are what those rebuilds look like.

Mixed projects

When the deck, the railing, the patio, and the fence all happen at once. The biggest projects we touch.

The dream-build category. When a homeowner does the deck, the railing, the hardscape, AND the fence in a single season — and we coordinate the whole thing across every brand and category. These are the projects that take six months of planning and become the cover-photo of someone's social. Browse the grid for full-yard transformations across Saskatoon, Regina, and the prairies.

If you walked into TUDS

The three questions we get at the gallery wall — and what we'd actually say.

"I've seen the photos — how do I figure out which brand was used on the deck I like?"
Shane · Co-owner
Shane · Co-owner

Every grid tile lists the brand and tier in the title — Eva-Last Apex PLUS, Trex Transcend, Fiberon Sanctuary, etc. Click through to that brand's hub for the full lineup, swatches, calculator, and which colour the project used. If you can't tell which colour from the photo, walk into either showroom — most of these are colours we have on the wall as physical samples. Or call us with the project number and we'll tell you exactly which SKU.

Sometimes — depends on the customer. Several of the homeowners in this gallery have agreed to host walk-throughs for serious buyers. Call either showroom (Saskatoon 306-249-3325, Regina 306-522-3325) and ask about the project number. We'll check with the homeowner. The other option, which most people use first, is to walk both showrooms — every brand on this gallery has physical samples + display panels you can touch.

If TUDS supplied the materials, send us the photos when it's done — saskatoon@tuds.ca or regina@tuds.ca, with your project number. We add 3-5 new projects to this gallery every month. We'll always ask permission and credit your contractor (if you want them credited). And yes — we share the photos on our YouTube and Instagram too, with attribution. The only ask: hi-res photos, daytime light, no kids in the frame unless you've okayed it.

FAQ

Questions about the gallery — answered honestly.

Want your project featured? Want to see one in person? Want to find the brand on a specific tile? Start here.

Yes. Every project on this page is a real Saskatchewan, Alberta, or Manitoba homeowner who used TUDS materials, with photo permission. We don't post vendor renders, stock photos, or somebody else's projects pulled from Pinterest. Some entries are scaffolded with brand-lifestyle imagery while we curate the customer-photo library — those are flagged internally and replaced as real photos come in.

Sometimes — depends on the customer. Several of the homeowners in this gallery have agreed to host walk-throughs for serious buyers. Call either showroom (Saskatoon 306-249-3325, Regina 306-522-3325) and ask about a specific project. The faster path: walk our showrooms — every brand on this gallery has physical samples and display panels you can touch and walk on.

Every grid tile lists the brand and tier in the title — Eva-Last Apex PLUS, Trex Transcend, Vista glass infill, Techo-Bloc Blu 60, etc. Click any tile to land on that brand's hub for the full lineup, swatches, calculator, and the colour the project used. If a tile just shows a category and not a brand, call either showroom and we'll tell you the exact SKU.

Yes — many more. We add 3-5 new projects to this gallery every month, and we have hundreds more in the customer-photo backlog being curated. If you don't see your category or your city represented, ask in the showroom — we likely have private-shared photos we can pull up on a tablet for you. Our YouTube channel and Instagram have video walk-throughs of many of these projects.

Yes — please. Send daytime hi-res photos to saskatoon@tuds.ca or regina@tuds.ca with your project or order number. We add 3-5 new projects every month. We always ask permission before posting and credit your contractor if you want them credited. The only ask: hi-res photos (1200px+ on the long edge), good light, and no kids in the frame unless you've cleared it.

If "didn't go well" means a warranty claim, we don't post those publicly — that's between the homeowner and the manufacturer. If it means a project we'd build differently if we did it again, we sometimes write about those in our journal as lessons-learned content. Honest is the brand — we'd rather tell you what we'd do differently than pretend every project is a winner.

For personal design-board use (Pinterest, your own home-design folder), yes — go ahead. For commercial use, contractor pitches, or media, please email saskatoon@tuds.ca first; we'll need to clear it with the homeowner. All photos are TUDS-credited and we ask the credit be retained when shared.

If you're a TUDS-network contractor and you'd like attribution on a project, email saskatoon@tuds.ca with your business name, the project number, and a one-line bio. We add contractor credits as a card-flip on the tile, and we route inbound contractor inquiries through our Managed Install service. New contractors interested in joining the network: TUDS PRO.
