Camo math: roughly 1.8 clips per square foot of deck surface at 16 in. on-centre joist spacing. The pack sizes are calibrated to that ratio: 90 ct covers ~50 sq ft, 450 ct covers ~250 sq ft, 900 ct covers ~500 sq ft. A 320 sq ft deck = 450 ct pack with a buffer. A 600 sq ft deck = 900 ct + 90 ct, or two 450s. Add Starter Clips for the first and last board (25 ct = ~30 lin ft at 16 in. OC). Same Marksman frame, different guide blocks. Pro Guide — for grooved composite + PVC (also works on hardwood and cedar), 5-1/4 to 5-3/4 in. boards, automatic 3/16 in. (5mm) gap. Pro X1 Guide — for treated lumber, same board widths, automatic 1/16 in. (1.58mm) gap (treated lumber shrinks as it dries, so it needs a tighter starting gap). Pro X2 Guide — 1/8 in. gap, common for capped composite. Pro NB Guide — narrow boards 3-1/4 to 5 in., 3/16 in. gap. Buy the Marksman Pro frame once, swap guides as needed.

The Camo edge screw included with EdgeClips and WedgeClips is stainless steel — that's standard, no decision required. Where you have to choose: the bulk Camo edge screws sold separately (1-7/8 in. and 2-3/8 in. trim heads). ProTech (grey) is a 1500-hour salt spray coated steel — fine for inland Prairie decks and most Canadian builds. 316 stainless is for coastal salt-air, salt-water pool decks, hot-tub surrounds, and any application where corrosion is a real concern. ProTech for most TUDS customers; 316 SS if you've got a pool, hot tub, or coastal lake home.

Yes. Camo is a year-round stocked line at both yards (Saskatoon and Regina). EdgeClips, WedgeClips, EdgeXClips, ProTech and stainless screws, Marksman Pro tools, DRIVE / ClipDRIVE tools, driver bits, Starter Clips, and the LEVER board-bender — all in stock most of the year. No — TUDS does not rent tools. Both Marksman Pro and DRIVE are sold outright. The Marksman Pro is at a price point that's reasonable for a single-deck DIYer to buy, use, and either keep, sell on Marketplace, or lend to a friend. The DRIVE / ClipDRIVE are productivity tools priced for contractors who'll amortize them over multiple builds. If renting is what you need, your local equipment-rental yard is the right call — or buy the Marksman, sell it after.

No. Camo specifies standard drill only — never an impact driver for the DRIVE, ClipDRIVE, Marksman Pro, or any clip fastening. Impact drivers cam-out the screws, snap the clip body, and void Camo's warranty. Use a regular cordless drill (or corded). T15 star drive bit for clips and edge screws, T20 for face screws.
