Authorized Eva-Last dealer

Eva-Last bamboo-infused decking engineered to outlast.

Built from bamboo — a material that reaches harvest in five years and builds decks that last fifty. Pioneer and Apex PLUS carry a 50-year fade and stain warranty; Infinity IS carries 30. All three tiers stocked at both TUDS Prairie yards so you can feel the difference before you decide.

Meet the Eva-Last family

Three lines. One family. Every deck starts here.

Every Eva-Last board shares the same bamboo-infused DNA — the difference is in the cap, the warranty, and the budget. Read each line before you shop.

Eva-Last Infinity IS bamboo composite decking installed in a Saskatoon backyard with mature trees — Prairie-rated entry-tier I-beam profile
Entry Tier
30-year warranty

Real capped composite at a price that makes sense. Lighter I-beam profile, beautiful in shade and tree cover.

Infinity IS is Eva-Last's ventilated I-beam board — roughly 40% lighter than solid capped composites because the core is a structural I-profile instead of a solid cross-section. That's a feature, not a shortcut: less thermal mass means it runs cooler underfoot, and the grain reads especially well under shade and tree cover where diffused light catches the texture. For budget-conscious builds or yards full of pines, this is the answer.

“If you're watching budget, Infinity IS is not a compromise — it's a different decision. The I-beam profile is lighter and runs cooler in July. For shaded or treed yards, it beats any solid capped composite we stock.”

Eva-Last Apex PLUS premium bamboo composite decking installed on a south-facing Prairie backyard in Regina — thermally stable, high-grip cap
Premium Tier
Most popular

Thermally stable, best-in-industry traction, hyper-realistic grain. The one most customers walk out with.

Apex PLUS is what most TUDS customers end up with. Solid capped bamboo composite — engineered to stay thermally stable when the sun hits it, with a cap that's textured for the best traction in the category (matters when decks get wet). The printed grain reads close enough to real hardwood that people walk across it before realising it's composite. Fiberglass reinforcement under the cap keeps it rigid across 24-inch joist spacing.

“If I was building a new deck today, this is the one I'd choose. Thermally stable in Saskatchewan sun, grip you can actually trust when it rains, and a grain that looks like real hardwood from two feet up. If you can stretch to the Premium tier, it's the one you'll still be happy with in ten years.”

Eva-Last Pioneer luxury composite decking with photorealistic Ipé-look hardwood aesthetic on a covered patio in Saskatchewan — 50-year warranty
Luxury Tier

Pioneer

The look of Ipé, without the maintenance. Eva-Last's flagship — photorealistic hardwood aesthetic, composite durability.

Pioneer is Eva-Last's newest and most premium line. Multi-tone photorealistic printing gives you a board that reads like exotic hardwood — Ipé, Garapa, Cumaru — without the sealing, splintering, or year-two colour shift real tropical hardwoods demand. If you've been dreaming of an Ipé deck but can't stomach the maintenance schedule or the sustainability story, Pioneer is the answer. The 50-year warranty reflects Eva-Last's confidence in the newest generation of bamboo composite technology.

Apex PLUS for most situations — it's the Premium-tier bamboo composite most customers land on. Thermally stable so it doesn't warp on you in full sun, best-in-category grip texture, and grain that reads like real hardwood up close. If you want the absolute top tier and like the exotic hardwood look, Pioneer gives you the 50-year warranty and the photorealistic print. If Apex PLUS feels heavy on the wallet and you're open to other brands, we also stock Trex Transcend and Deckorators Voyage at similar tier.

Infinity IS. The I-beam profile is how they keep the price down — less material used, not less quality. 30-year residential warranty and it's an honest 30. Don't let anyone tell you the Entry tier is a compromise; in shaded yards it actually outperforms the solid boards because it runs cooler underfoot. If your budget is even tighter, Fiberon GoodLife sits at the same Entry tier — different look, similar price.

Pioneer is the answer that didn't exist five years ago. Photorealistic multi-tone print, 50-year warranty, Ipé-look without sealing or sanding. We've lost count of the customers who came in planning real Ipé and walked out with Pioneer samples — after six months, nobody can tell the difference.

FAQ

The questions we get — before the quote.

Don't see yours? Call either store and one of our Escape Artists will help.

Yes — and we'd tell you if it wasn't. Eva-Last is one of the few capped composites that's held up cold-crack-free across Saskatchewan winters in our experience. The bamboo-based core absorbs less moisture than the wood-flour composites most competitors sell, which is the variable that drives cold-crack failure in our climate. The textured high-grip cap on Apex PLUS is what Prairie homeowners tell us makes the biggest day-to-day difference — especially on wet mornings. Worth the Premium-tier price for most Prairie builds. If you're cross-shopping, we also stock Trex, Fiberon, and Deckorators — every major composite brand under one roof.

Eva-Last boards are bamboo-infused PVC composite. The core combines milled bamboo with PVC and a fibreglass reinforcement layer. Apex PLUS and Pioneer are solid capped boards. Infinity IS uses a ventilated I-beam profile rather than a solid cross-section, which is why it runs cooler and comes in lighter. Bamboo grows approximately 50× faster than the hardwoods traditional composites use.

Yes. Eva-Last has been in Saskatchewan yards through Prairie conditions from -42°C freeze cycles to +35°C summer sun, and we've never paid a cold-crack warranty claim on boards we've sold. Bamboo-fibre absorbs less moisture than wood-flour composites, which is the variable that drives cold-crack failure. For Prairie winter performance, Eva-Last is among the safer bets in the capped composite category.

Infinity IS: 30-year residential. Apex PLUS: 50-year residential. Pioneer: 50-year residential. All tiers carry 15-year commercial. Warranties are prorated in later years. See the warranty section above for the full breakdown, or jump to Eva-Last's official warranty page for the full legal terms.

Use the deck cost calculator above — it reads live Shopify variant prices, so the number you see is always current. Quick ranges: Infinity IS is the Entry tier, Apex PLUS the Premium mid-tier, Pioneer the Luxury flagship. Total project cost also depends on framing, fasteners, trim, and labour — get an instant estimate for the full number, or read our Eva-Last vs Trex deep-dive if you're cross-shopping.

Apex PLUS is solid capped bamboo composite — heavier, denser, with a textured high-grip cap. Best pick for south-facing full-sun yards where thermal stability + traction + hyper-realistic grain matter most. Infinity IS uses a ventilated I-beam profile that's approximately 40% lighter, uses less material, and runs cooler underfoot. Entry-tier price, honest performance. Budget-conscious or tree-covered yard: Infinity IS. Full sun, Premium ambition: Apex PLUS.

Maximum 500mm (approximately 16" on-centre) joist spacing for Infinity IS in standard residential applications. For diagonal decking patterns or angles over 45°, reduce to 400mm (approximately 12"). Expansion gaps: 5–6mm between board ends. Hidden-clip fastening is the standard install method — face-screw also available with colour-matched composite screws.

Yes — we ship Eva-Last LTL freight across Canada. Most of the country doesn't stock Eva-Last at all, so if you're in Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Vancouver, or further east, TUDS is often your closest real supplier. Call either store for a freight quote on your specific address and board count.

Quick facts

Eva-Last — what you actually need to know

  • Bamboo composite — not wood or wood-fibre

Eva-Last uses moso bamboo as the structural fibre — one of the fastest-growing renewables on earth, harvested without replanting and reaching maturity in 5 years vs. 25-40 for hardwood.

  • 50-year warranty on Pioneer and Apex PLUS

The longest residential warranties in the Canadian composite tier-set TUDS stocks — 50-year coverage on both premium tiers, 30-year on Infinity IS.

  • Glass-fiber-reinforced core on Apex PLUS

The bamboo foamed-PVC core is reinforced with glass fibre, increasing stiffness and reducing thermal expansion — the same construction TUDS specs for Prairie freeze-thaw cycles.

  • 15 stocked colours across all three tiers

The widest Eva-Last palette in Saskatchewan — light pinewood through grey, sculpted grain to photorealistic hardwood. Bring your siding sample; we'll match before you order.

  • Three tiers stocked in Saskatchewan

Infinity IS (entry, 30yr), Apex PLUS (sweet spot, 50yr), Pioneer (premium luxury, 50yr) — all stocked in Saskatoon and Regina.

  • South African-engineered, Canada-tested

Eva-Last's R&D and manufacturing are in South Africa where boards face more extreme UV and heat than Saskatchewan ever delivers — they arrive over-spec'd for Prairie climates.
